Same as Sears Horizon SXS 5.7, December 1, 2008 By Issa Emil Hazin (Ca, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Horizon Fitness FS-50 Home Gym (Sports) This is the same as the Horizon SXS 5.7 I bought from sears on sale for less than 1/2 the price. Could use another 100lbs as I'm using the full 150lbs right now after few months of use but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to upgrade so if this will be an issue, plan accordingly; otherwise, very good product.

We tried out several more expensive models at the store but ultimately we liked this one the best. Here are some of the features that convinced us to purchase it:
*The gym performs all of the exercises that we were looking for, and then some.
*The cables glide silently and smoothly through the pulleys.
*It's footprint is very small and it takes up very little space.
*It's very stable, strong and sturdy.
*With it's welded together, stylized frame, it's much more high-end looking then the screwed together units selling for twice as much. It's really an attractive piece of equipment to have in your home!
Like the last reviewer mentioned, Sears does sell this gym for less than half this price. Unfortunately trying to locate one is almost impossible. We managed to pick up one of the last ones in northern Ohio (Michigan was all out) this week.
